Managing a sustainable integrated inventory model for imperfect production process with type one and type two errors

Unlike previous research, this study develops an integrated inventory model for controllable lead time with defective items, errors in inspection, and variable considering sustainability. The research investigates the effect of controlling capital investment setup cost. We assume that buyer receives a lot size may contain some items known probability. buyer’s inspector conducts 100% quality inspection incorrectly classify non-defective item as (type one (I) error) or two (II) error). mathematical carbon emission cost is developed, solution procedure designed using heuristic algorithm to derive optimal near solution. Finally, numerical examples sensitivity analysis are given illustrate results. results show rate, type I II errors, have significant impact on shipment lot. This leads changes total cost, time, emissions. Our provides savings 4.39% 28.44%.Graphic abstract
